My Uncle Hilde was a New Englander through and through. He, like so many other old-timers, had those thrifty Yankee traits of frugality and resourcefulness. He often said “Don’t spend money where you don’t need to”. We’ve taken my Uncle Hilde’s philosophy and applied it to our stores. You see, our strength is in our ability to source all types of lumber bargains from every continent. Unlike other discount lumberyards, we don’t carry only damaged or distressed goods. Most of our inventory is in perfect condition, and we were able to snatch it up cheap for one reason or another.
