Brazilian Garapa, AKA “Brazilian Ash” or “Blonde Ipe” is a highly decay resistant, extremely dense and durable tropical hardwood species that is ideal for use in exterior structures; especially decking. Garapa’s beautiful golden tones will enhance your project with a warm, natural look. If left unfinished it will weather out evenly to a soft gray as shown in the last 2 photos. And it is kiln dried which enhances it’s ability to resist grain raise as it weathers, making it barefoot friendly! Available in 8′, 10′ & 12′ lengths.
