Brazilian Teak (Cumaru), is a tough and dense wood imported from Brazil that has an irregular, somewhat interlocked grain and wavy, course texture. Because of its density, it is very resistant to decay. The heartwood is a medium brown with distinctive tan shades that compliment one another.
This lot has been deeply discounted after an insurance settlement. The banding on the unit failed during transit and there is some box damage. Because it is such a hard wood, the flooring itself is 99% intact. Regular retail list price is well over $7.00 per SF !
